“Ray Semple has been Santa Claus at Santa’s Cottage in downtown Mundelein for 30 years. Each year – through snow, sub-zero temperatures, rain, and wind – Ray has brought joy to thousands of children. Even during the pandemic, he stood in front of the Cottage and waved to carloads of happy children as they passed by. You won’t find a more patient and jolly Santa.”
